LIVE VIEW (2013) SOUND & MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE INSTALLATION
Live View presents a series of precise, still movement frames, creating a dialogue with sculpture and photography while avoiding the tropes of movement, continuity, and fluidity favoured by choreography. Using the tools of performance and recorded sound (delivered via headphones), the work arrests action, enabling the full implications of each singular moment to be revealed in the imagination of the viewer.
