Adherence (2019) LIVE PERFORMANCE
A new work for three dancers, Adherence explores the potential for change through human persistence, will and endurance.
Using the strictures of prescriptive choreography and musical scores, in Adherence the dancers strive to stay united, hit their cues and meet the demands of their role, mirroring the relentless pressures of contemporary life.
Is this world repressive, limiting individual expression and inviting failure? Or does it offer something beyond mastery – a path to reformulation, resilience and transformation?
Adherence was presented at the Iwaki Auditorium, ABC Southbank, Melbourne, Australia.
